Top Voice for recovered Carbon Black
As a consultant and business coach, I am trading as “Wolfersdorff Consulting Berlin”. My consultancy has been in operation since 2014. In the early years I have mostly focussed on growth hacking for the pigments, carbon black and plastics industries. In 2015 I started developing consulting offers for the recovered carbon black industry. In 2020, I concluded a 2 year training as an EASC certified business coach.
My passion is for recovered carbon black and other sustainable carbon blacks such as methane pyrolysis carbon blacks, circular carbon blacks and renewable carbon blacks. With Smithers, I have co-founded the recovered Carbon Black Conference, the largest global community for recovered carbon black and tire pyrolysis. Our November 2023 conference had more than 350 participants!
I work with small technology start-ups and large corporations alike. My corporate reference clients include BASF, Bridgestone, Danone, Decathlon, Hutchinson, Ineos, Michelin, Mitsubishi, Trelleborg Wheel Systems (now Yokohama) and more. I also worked with the public sector: US Department of Energy and Stadtwerke Osnabrück.

I have worked in the entire colour space, from white (titanium dioxide pigments with Huntsman / Venator Materials), over custom colours (thermoplastic masterbatch with Americhem) to black (carbon black with Cabot Corp.).
Through these assignments I have a super large network in the chemical and materials industries across all sectors: Plastics; packaging; paints & coatings; paper; food, drugs & cosmetics; rubber and more.
I work with many other industries and materials like ecologic in-can preservatives for dispersion paints and anti-fouling agents for marine paints.

Sustainable Carbon Blacks
At Wolfersdorff Consulting Berlin, we have a passion for “sustainable carbon blacks” and we work with clients on a range of alternative filler materials. Tire pyrolysis is a net positive energy process for the chemical decomposition of end-of-life tires into valuable materials like raw recovered carbon black and recovered oil feedstocks for material valorisation. Masterbatch
Masterbatch colour and additive concentrates are used as intermediates in the plastics industry. Wolfersdorff Consulting Berlin has worked 12 years in the plastics industry as supplier, producer and buyer of masterbatches. Titanium Dioxide
Titanium dioxide is used as an opaque white pigment and also as a transparent UV-reflector. At Wolfersdorff Consulting Berlin, we have worked in this sector for 14 years in R&D, application engineering, sales and strategic marketing.
