WHAT IS GROWTH HACKING?
In essence, Growth hacking is a form of accelerated business development. The term was therefore coined in the start-up scene and consequently is used by companies of all sizes from start-ups to SMEs up to big public corporations. In other words, it has the objective of boosting their quarterly sales performance.
For instance, start-ups typically have limited budgets for business development and are “bootstrapping” instead. Focus of growth hacking techniques are therefore simple methods. They are known to deliver results quickly without expensive tools. Many (but not all) techniques are using digital tools. For example, tools such as websites, email and social media (viral and influencer marketing) are all being utilised accordingly.
