WHAT IS TIRE PYROLYSIS?

It began with a passion for developing “green” carbon black through tire pyrolysis technology. Over the course of 11 years, Wolfersdorff Consulting Berlin developed to be a leading global authority in recovered carbon black and an evangelist for tire-to-tire recycling.

Wolfersdorff Consulting Berlin has been speaking at many global conferences and trade fairs on the topic of tire recycling like Tire Technology, Future Tire, ETRA, Automechanika, Jornadas de Reciclaje and many more.

As a global first, Wolfersdorff Consulting Berlin teamed up with Smithers to launch the Recovered Carbon Congress 2019 in Berlin, a conference which attracted 172 participants and speakers from Michelin, Hexpol, Semperit, ETRMA and many tire pyrolysis companies. The 2023 edition of the conference had 388 participants. In 2024, the conference branched out to Asia. Since 2025, the rCB community is larger than 500 delegates.

Wolfersdorff Consulting Berlin works with global OEM car builders, top tire producers, tire recycling companies and investors on the topic of tire recycling through pyrolysis and devulcanisation and has contacts with over 400 tire recycling companies globally.

Consulting services on the topic of tire recycling are expanded continuously. Consequently, the initial focus has been on product and market development for recovered carbon black. Following this, detailed bottom-up market reports for recovered carbon black were added along with top-down investor reports for a few major countries such as the USA, Brazil and Poland.
