The tire producers Bridgestone and Michelin join forces for tire-to tire recycling.

On the Recovered Carbon Black Congress on November 22nd/23rd 2021 in Amsterdam, Bridgestone and Michelin will deliver a joint keynote on advancing sustainable ecosystems for end-of-life tires together, including the increased use of recovered carbon black in the production of new tires.

Ecosystems are the future of tire recycling as already presented by Wolfersdorff Consulting on the Future Tire conference in 2018. Ecosystems are systems of systems that are talking and collaborating with each other. There are no competitors but only partners.

It is great to see that Bridgestone and Michelin join forces for tire-to tire recycling and want to spearhead the tire industry in building a tire recycling eco-system using tire pyrolysis technology. Both companies will also work together in increasing the use of recovered carbon black and other recycled materials produced by the pyrolysis of end-of-life-tires.
